  • Log onto your computer.
  • Go to the “Start” menu at the bottom left corner of your computer screen, Click on it.
  • Select “Run” and type “REGEDIT.EXE” and click “OK.”
  • Go to “Edit,” navigate down and click on “Find…”
  • In the “Find what” box, Type, “OutlookSecureTempFolder“.
  • Click “Find Next” button and find a folder location similar to the following, “C:\Users\rac\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\CU8KPJWH\
  • Copy the location of that folder and go to “Start”->”Run“. In the “Open” box, paste the folder location.
  • Click “OK” and the Windows Explorer will open. From this folder, delete all the Internet temporary files.
  • Close all windows, restart Outlook and try to open the attachments again.

  6. Finally locate the file named “Outlprnt” in the Outlook folder and delete it.
